How Can I best support you?
Hey, my name is Maya Cramer.
Booking your photographer can be scary. It's a big deal; and there's only one opportunity to capture your special day. Here is why it is important for me to be there for you, so you can feel supported, taken care of, and stress-free come wedding day.
"I want to feel supported & taken care of."
First time wedding planning can be overwhelming. Even if you are a professional wedding planner, there is still so much prep and time put into planning. There's little things you have to do that nobody warned you about. It's a long process, but in the end, it's the most rewarding thing you've ever done.
Many couples feel conflicted when choosing a photographer. There's so many different options-- from style, to editing, to even their personality. It all plays a role in your decision. Let me help you make one step easier for you by showing you all the things to consider when booking your photographer. A huge part of feeling supported & taken care of is being able to trust your team. This goes for all vendors. Our team's trust starts the second you inquire about your wedding. From every consultation call, your engagement pictures, wedding prep, up to your wedding day, we carefully and intentionally do things to build your trust-- so you can wake up the morning of your big day, stress-free.

The Mayacphotography Team's difference
At MayaCPhotography, our all-women team of three knows the importance of feeling taken care of. We feel that choosing a photographer shouldn't feel like a chore, or just a transaction-- it should be an experience that you enjoy. Meeting with new people, learning different styles and personalities. We want you to feel like you belong with us, so we take the extra step to go above and beyond for all of our couples.
Here's some things that you may not think about when booking a photographer, but they make a huge difference:
- Intentional Timeline Creation: When you book with our team, you will have a consultation call to go over expectations, desires, preferences, etc. We strive to make you feel comfortable enough to speak up, and tell us all about what you want in your special day. Allowing time for this call grants you the ability to plan the timeline that captures everything you want throughout the day, but also meets the photographer's & videographer's work time. Every photo/video professional performs tasks in different lengths of time. Our team likes to allow an ample amount of room for breaks, delays, mess-ups, and just give you an opportunity to soak it all in, rather than feeling rushed. This is why I strongly encourage the silver or gold packages, as this allows you time to rest throughout your day, and more time for me to capture images that you may not even think of (Like your mom hugging family members as the arrive to the venue).
- Hype-Women & Behind The Scene Coordinators: Many brides highlight our attention to detail. Reviews note that we are there for the couple first, before anyone else. Regardless of what happens, it's your day, and we are here to make it about you. I love being able to work along side my mom, because we both notice small details that may bother you as well. (ex: a stain on your dress or a candle blew out in the wind) Our team comes prepared to weddings with emergency packs, stuffed with everything you could need from: Tide sticks, to bobby pins, to safety pins. We also promise to bring our A-game. We are here to not only capture every moment possible, but we strive to make your day seamless and stress-free. Anything we can do, we will, no matter how big or small the ask.
- Plan-B Thinkers: Although you never want to use a plan B or C, we plan for them you. Whether weather shifts, one of our camera stops working, or nobody will dance on the dance floor; we strategically plan ahead for these events. We also do research on your venue prior to your wedding to create a list of spots we can go to if guests are showing up early, it starts raining, or whatever else may be in our way! Regarding camera situations, my team & I all have at least one back up camera & flash EACH. Although we have never ran into an emergency situation of a camera shutting down, (knock on wood) it can happen. That's why we have fully equipped ourselves to guarantee that any flukes on our end, will not effect your day, or your images captured. We also back up all of our SD cards in 3 different areas, so your pictures may never be lost!
- We Care About Your People Just As Much As You Do: We all know that everyone at your wedding was intentionally and selectively invited. We take pride in our reviews from not only couples, but their family members. Many family members note that they also felt taken care of and heard. Mom wants an extra picture with her daughter/son? You got it! Grandma wants a professional picture with her husband? Of course-- why not take the opportunity if we have time in between the timeline! We also find joy knowing that our style of shooting reflects a candid, story-telling documentary style. We prioritize capturing behind the scenes moments that you may miss, but you will cherish forever. Pictures like your younger sister watching you walk down the aisle, or your dad wiping away the one tear he allowed himself to shed. Your day is busy, and doesn't always allow for you to see everything yourself. But our team's goal is to send you a gallery of pictures that not only include your Pinterest board ideas, but also hold images that nobody could ever plan for.
- Diversity: Our team feels that we have gained enough experience through the last 2-years to feel that we can truly say we are inclusive to all. No matter your sexuality, disability, sexual orientation, skin color, or religion-- we want to be here for you. We truly believe that no person ever deserves to have to worry about their vendors respecting their beliefs, or doing something malicious if they don't align with your values/opinions. We are eager to be inclusive to everyone, and would never turn away a friendly face. We believe in keeping our thoughts and emotions to ourselves, as our world is scary enough as it is. We promise to never be judgmental, and never exclude anyone from booking. You should never have to feel worried about a vendor not accepting you, so we promise to always support you, and we will always have your back when you need us.
