Meet the Photographer
HI, I'm Maya.
I am so glad you are here! Here's a little bit about me:
Georgia-based, 21-year-old, and I just graduated from Young Harris College in December 2025! I graduated with a double major in Business Management & Marketing :) After I graduated, I left the mountains to return home to Marietta with my mom, Heather! I also continued my education through KSU, participating in a 10-week digital marketing science course! Now, I am entering the workforce while maintaining my business of being a wedding photographer!
I started my career in photography in January 2024. Since then, I have been so dedicated to making this dream come to life. I love being able to call myself a professional wedding photographer! In the last two years, I have shot over 30 weddings and plenty of other sessions, from proposals, engagements, maternity, families, etc!
I love spending time with my family and exploring new places! I am lucky to say my team & I have traveled to some pretty cool places to photograph/video weddings. Our most recent was St. Louis, NYC, Arizona, and Los Angeles!

I current own mayacphotography and have my LLC. I am so grateful to say that I work with my Mom, Heather and best friend, Macie! Our team is so close & it reflects in our work. We are able to communicate and provide the best quality service to you.

This is my amazing & talented momma, Heather! My mom has her own business and LLC called HeatherAnnPhotography, but she often works under me for weddings! She also is a high school science teacher & plans to retire soon!
My mom has dreamed about being a wedding photographer for 20+ years, but raising 2 kids, she put herself on the back burner. Once I started my business, she took the opportunity to kick start her career & work with me :) Since she likes to stay busy, you can also find her on the tennis courts or doing home renovations! She loves spending time outside and being with me & my younger brother, Connor.

Videographer & Content Creator
Macie Wagner
Macie is a graduate from Young Harris College since May of 2026. She majored in Business Administration and Marketing. Since then, Macie works for a company managing their social media, creating content through video & photo, and helps with their marketing! Her journey in the creative world began with social media management, where she spent six months crafting content and building engagement for various brands. Macie specializes in wedding content creation + videography. Macie also has her LLC.
In May 2025, Macie officially launched her videography career, blending her love for storytelling with strategy. After graduation, she plans to stay close to home and continue growing in the marketing field — combining her skills in content creation, videography, and digital strategy to help brands thrive.
